Lower Half (106-145): Howell returns a strong core of four in the lower half in juniors Kris Lindemann (6th in NJ), Peter Dee (3rd in R6), and Anthony Gagliano (2nd D21), and senior Mike Sisolak. That foursome combined for 115 wins in 2014, and gives the Rebels a strong nucleus to build around as they break in a few new faces into the lower half. Among the new faces are some very familiar last names in Slendorn, Esposito, and Sulkowski.

Upper Half (152-Hwt): The upper half of the lineup took a pretty decent-sized hit to graduation with State-placer Joey Schultz and Region champ Kyle Cocozza, among others, departing, but Howell has always had a knack for reloading as opposed to rebuilding. There will be a strong senior presence in this group with Sean & Austin Silverstein, Nick Lurski, David Nocks, and Anthony Pozsonyi all returning to the fold. Another senior, Ryan Demian will look for a breakout year at heavyweight after seeing limited action behind Cocozza and Nate Litowsky last season. Sophomore Eric Keosseian, a transfer from Manasquan, is coming off a 22-win freshman season and helps solidify a tough group of upperweights.

Outlook: While Howell did graduate half of its starting lineup from last year's Sectional & Shore Conference Tournament Championship team, they still have a lot of great talent returning, and very strong newcomers ready to step in and contribute at a high level. The program always has strong numbers to pull from, and Coach Gagliano does a great job at getting varsity experience to his depth guys, allowing the team to just keep plugging along each year. This season should be no different as the Rebels will once again be among the Shore's top teams and will be in the hunt for titles in the Team States, SCT, District, and Division.
